The ‘Next Level’ football pathway is my programme made for talented players who strongly believe they have both the skills and desire to step up to a higher level of challenge.
Scouting they say is a game of opinions. The ‘next level’ is also based on opinions PLUS over 30 years experience at levels of Grassroots, Academy, Non-League, The Football League and the Scottish Premier League.

The full programme (3 stages) that include the following;
Stage 1. A FREE 30 minute telephone call . . . .
This is an introductory call, mainly to establish the players current playing pathway, playing level and up to date football history. This will also include the player’s opinion and self assessment on current attributes, areas to develop and the target level that the player aims to play at.
During the call, I will offer full details of the contents of ‘The Next Level’ programme which continues with phase 2 of the programme (scouting assessment).
Stage 2. A scouting assessment of the player . . . .
.
Live Fixture . . . . This is to determine the skillset of the player in relation to the position that they play and will include rating all ‘positional, recognised and viewable attributes’. The appraisal will initially be via telephone and then confirmed with a detailed and comprehensive written scouting assessment report. All scouting assessments will note attributes of both ‘high standard’ and ‘further development’ required.
Video Footage . . . . I am able to advise the player on the structure of their video. that can include;
> Clear identification of the player
> Important viewable skills/attributes
> Benefits of ‘grouping’ skills/attributes
> Attributes not shown but important to position played.
> Time length of video
The report will outline both major ‘strengths’ viewed of the player and also ‘areas to develop’
Stage 3. Additional Support . . . .
Subject to the player assessment, the ‘Next Level’ programme can also make a considerable ‘promotional’ difference for the player, with a selection of supporting content and advice to promote the player.
This would be discussed in a 2nd call with the player to include the following;
> Player Recommendation (structure and content consent to be confirmed)
> Advice on individual player attributes to elevate performance.
> Discuss possible link from website to player highlight video
> Player CV (important content)
