Are you a talented young footballer ? Is it your dream to become a professional footballer ?

Welcome to my ‘News Page’.
In this post I am going to focus on several ways a talented young football player can get the opportunity to be scouted by a professional football club.

Here are a few of them . . . . 

> Private ‘Open’ Trials days.

> Apply to a club in writing.

> Get ‘scouted’ by a club scout at a game you play in.

> Player CV including personal highlights video (Parent approval if under 18)

In this post I am going to expand on the 1st one on the list.

Private ‘Open Trials’ Event’s 

For those who may be wondering what a ‘Open Trials’ day is, then I will explain;

These are basically organised by private coaching companies across the UK who provide a venue, usually a pre match coaching session followed by a competitive ‘game’ structure for different age groups. (7v7, 9v9, 11v11)

Benefits Of Open Trials Events 

The company who has organised the event, will have invited several Football Club scouts to attend. The scouts are equipped with the knowledge of the standard that their club requires and a good performance by yourself could attract the interest you want.

How to make contact with an ‘Open Trials’ event company

There are a lot of companies spread across the UK. Some of them will focus on events in their own location and others will operate in cities across the UK.

These companies have a good following on several social media platforms.
